Death from Above 1979 absolutely killed it on Letterman last night!

Perfume Genius just released a music video for ‘Grid’, off his upcoming album ‘Too Bright’.
So far, the singles released from ‘Too Bright’ have been quite a departure from the primarily piano-driven, tear-jerking and hauntingly pretty songwriting of his previous albums. I, for one, am immensely enjoying the ride.
‘Too Bright’ drops on the 22nd.
I might be a bit late to the party … but sweet baby Jesus, the new Aphex Twin track is droolworthy.
It’s the first song to be released by Aphex Twin in well over a decade and bodes well for his upcoming album ‘Syro’.
‘Syro’ will drop on the 23rd and feature some pretty awesome artwork.
Californian alternative hip hop outfit Why? just dropped a music video for ‘Jonathan’s Hope’, off the album ‘Mumps, etc.’. Rather swell of them to keep doing videos for an album that was released two years ago.
So … Death from Above 1979’s new album ‘The Physical World’ is streaming in its entirety at Faster Louder. The album is officially released on Friday. Good gracious, I’ve missed those guitar riffs!
TV on the Radio just dropped a totally rad new single from their upcoming album ‘Seeds’.
Canadian producer and singer-songwriter Claire Boucher just released the music video for her Blood Diamonds collaboration ‘Go’. The video was directed by Boucher and her brother, and features generous amounts of sand, black lights, humongous scarves blowing in the wind, as well as elaborate hairdos.

Christopher Owens: ‘Never Wanna See That Look Again’
Brand spanking new track from Christopher Owens of now-defunct Girls. The track will appear on Owens’ second solo album ‘A New Testament’, which drops on September 29th.
“Sometimes I see faces of blank fear when I walk by. If these fucking people want to give me some power — if they see me as some sea witch with penis tentacles that are always prodding and poking and seeking to convert the muggles — well, here she comes.” — July 15th, 2014
