Meet Grotusk: a meticulously geometric, yet cheeky and personable sans-serif typeface with a lot of sass.
I created the typeface inspired by the post-Bauhaus types of the early 20th century, such as Futura, Avenir and Super Grotesk. I wanted something that reflected the constructivist, geometric ideals of the period, while still appearing fresh and modern, with its own brazen personality.
Grotusk has a distinctly tall x-height and low ascent; which furthers the bold and circular feel, and makes it ideal for headlines and as a display typeface.
More weights and styles coming soon.
